That question is worth asking of every dive retailer, because the category spans full-service centres with a workshop and a compressor through to shopfronts that sell equipment and refer everything else elsewhere. Both models are legitimate and the naming rarely distinguishes them.
For purchases, in-person retail keeps a genuine advantage for anything that has to fit. Mask seal depends on face shape and cannot be judged from a photograph. Where a retailer is less useful is ongoing support. Regulator servicing intervals, cylinder test dates and gas fills are recurring needs, and knowing who handles them locally is worth establishing before buying rather than after.
Specifically worth confirming: whether servicing is done in-house and for which brands; cylinder visual inspection and hydrostatic testing availability; whether air or Nitrox fills are available on site; whether any training is offered; and opening hours, which vary widely across this segment of the market.
A practical note on buying: bring your own mask when comparing new ones. Fit is the hardest thing to judge and the most consequential, and comparing against a mask you already know seals is far more useful than trying several unfamiliar ones in sequence.
