Meet the site
Nobody's is one of the Scuba IQ sites on the Agincourt complex, and its name is tongue in cheek: it tends to be a quiet mooring. Scuba IQ describes a site with fish-covered formations, a weaving coral wall and a sandpit, giving it broad appeal to divers of all preferences. The dive combines three habitats. The coral wall winds along the reef edge, offering overhangs, crevices and soft coral growth where reef fish shelter. The formations – bommies and coral heads – are covered in fish, including schools of fusiliers, chromis and anthias. The sandpit gives a completely different environment, where you might find blue-spotted rays, garden eels, gobies with their partner shrimps and sometimes a resting whitetip shark. This variety makes Nobody's a good choice for a dive that keeps everyone interested: photographers can find macro subjects in the sand and wide-angle scenes on the wall, while newer divers enjoy the easy navigation along the wall and back. Scuba IQ does not publish depth figures for the site. Based on its description as a wall-and-sand site suitable for all levels, most of the dive will be spent in the 5–18 m band, with the guide setting the maximum depth. Visibility is typically 15–30 m. Nobody's is a pleasant, relaxed Agincourt dive that highlights the diversity of habitats found on the ribbon reefs, and its quieter nature means you may have it to yourselves – a welcome feeling on a reef system visited by several large day boats.
