Understand the risk
It is especially important in suspected decompression illness, but improvement does not prove that the injury is resolved. Delivery equipment and safety precautions require practical training. An oxygen kit left empty or inaccessible cannot help.

Put the knowledge into practice
Arrange recognised oxygen-provider training and refresh the skill. Before a remote trip, ask about supply, trained providers and evacuation time. During an incident, activate medical help and provide oxygen within training and professional instructions.
