Understand the risk
Central nervous system oxygen toxicity can cause a seizure, which underwater creates an immediate drowning risk. Warning symptoms are not dependable. Pulmonary oxygen toxicity is a different effect associated with prolonged exposure. Both pressure and duration matter.
