The idea
A scuba cylinder stores breathing gas under pressure. Its markings, labels and inspection records have specific purposes; they are not decoration. Cylinder size, material, valve arrangement and gas contents are different kinds of information.
Ask the operator to explain the cylinder supplied for your course and the applicable inspection and filling arrangements. Do not assume the contents from colour alone. Gas identification, analysis and use belong in the training and procedures appropriate to the gas and equipment.
