Point Lookout on North Stradbroke has Manta Bommie, one of the best big-animal dives in southern Queensland, with manta rays from November to May, leopard sharks by the dozen in summer, wobbegongs, turtles and, in winter, grey nurse sharks at Shag Rock and Flat Rock. Humpbacks pass close inshore from June to October.
