The idea
Underwater communication depends on signals and methods that the group understands. Do not assume that every diver uses exactly the same signal for every idea. Ambiguity is easier to resolve before entering the water.
Ask your instructor and buddy to review the signals and communication equipment relevant to the outing. A written explanation of a signal is not the same as practising its use and recognition. Confirm how questions and concerns will be expressed.
