The idea
A shared briefing makes the intended activity and communication arrangements explicit. It should connect the site, people, equipment and conditions. Hearing a plan is different from understanding it.
Use your training and the operator’s procedures to work through the actual briefing. This lesson identifies discussion topics rather than supplying an operational checklist. Ask questions before entering the water, especially when something differs from familiar practice.
