The idea
A buddy partnership involves communication, attention and an agreed plan. It is not simply two names on a booking. People may arrive with different training, recent experience and expectations.
A more experienced companion is not automatically acting as your instructor. Clarify roles and supervision with the operator. Each person needs the opportunity to ask questions, express limits and understand the arrangements.
