The idea
Scuba divers carry a breathing-gas supply. Snorkelling usually involves observing from the surface through a mask, with a snorkel providing an airway while its top is above water. Freediving involves breath-hold diving. These activities may share some equipment, but their training and supervision are different.
Choose a learning experience by describing what you want to do, rather than simply asking to “go diving”. Someone who wants to watch a shallow reef from the surface has a different goal from someone who wants to earn a scuba qualification. This library introduces scuba concepts; it does not provide breath-hold practice instructions.
